What is the trivia "season"?
Starting July 22, Season 1 was announced with the finale game to be held on Monday, October 7th.
The "season" is a way to reward our most loyal trivia teams. You do not need to do anything differently. Just show up each week and play.
The more you play, the more you maximize your chances at qualifying for the finale game for bigger CASH prizes.

How does the game work?
A typical Doodad Trivia game consists of 5 rounds of approximately 10 questions each.
Common rounds include:
The last round is typically The Final Countdown Round, which is almost a self 100pts. Doodad reads through the questions as players write down their answers, gaining points for each question they get right. At the end of the each round, scores are tallied, answers are read, and the current standings are announced.
Rules
There are three simple rules to trivia: NO shouting answers, NO outside sources (such as phones), and THE QUIZMASTER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. These rules are pretty easy to follow, but if you’re caught breaking one, it’s up to the Quizmaster’s discretion on how to handle it.
Wait until your team has turned in an answer before you look at that incoming text or Tweet on your phone! When you're using your phone at your table, even if it's just to look up a phone number or a funny video - especially before you've turned an answer in - it looks like you're cheating to everyone else. We try to make it as fun as possible, but there are rules.

Each correct answer earns you at least one point. Strategically,

Everything! You like movies? We got movies! You like sports? We got sports! You like underground jazz-influenced mud wrestling badgers? We just might have a question about them too! We try to have a little bit of something for everybody.
What is The Surly Goat?
The Surly Goat is a casual no-frills bar with a laid back vibe. Chill staff and laid back vibe with 27 delicious craft beers on draft and happy hour from 6pm-8pm Monday-Friday (1pm-3pm Saturday & Sunday).
What are the prizes if my team wins?
Prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams - gift certificates to use at The Surly Goat.
And, of course, bragging rights until the next game.

- Audio Round: 2-song music mashups, movie clips, name the song/artist, etc.,
