Rules
Trivia night is supposed to be fun and I try to maintain a lax atmosphere, but unfortunately it is also necessary to establish a few basic rules.
All rules can be put under the single umbrella rule of:
R-E-S-P-E-C-T
It's a good rule for life and a good rule for trivia. Follow this one rule and we won't have any issues.
Be respectful and mindful of others. Everyone is just trying to have a good time.
Don't be "that guy" or "that girl".

No outside sources - phones, etc.
I am understanding of the fact that we all have lives outside of trivia night and most of us can't go two whole hours without looking at our phones to check Instagram or reply to a text.
The problem is... that when you are using your phone at your table - even if it's just to reply to a text or check Instagram - to everyone else, it looks like you are cheating.
So here's the solution - just wait until your team has turned in your answer sheet before you pull out your phone. I do not want to see phones out during the question-asking portion of the game or if your team still has an active answer sheet in front of you.
Remember, if you are cheat at a FREE trivia night, shame on you. Don't do it - you will be disqualified from winning any prizes that night.

Do not yell out answers - right or wrong.
Again, don't be "that guy" or "that girl". If you know it, write it down.
Also, if just trying to be witty, trust me, you're not as clever as you think you are. No one else wants your "funny" responses to ruin their ability to play the game.
