Join us Mondays at 8pm via the Zoom link below for a trivia game you can play along with at home. We'll keep doing this until the bar is allowed to safely re-open and we can hopefully return to some form of in-person trivia and all share a drink together.

How It Works

• Before we start the game I’ll need a designated team member (captain) to use the chat to tell me your team name and the players I should include as part of your team. Send it in the following format: "Team Name: player 1, player 2, player 3, etc..." (try to use the name that they show up as on Zoom).
• After I read the questions for each round, I will send your teams into breakout rooms for a few minutes to confer with each other on any answers you’re not sure of.
  • NOTE: You can not see the questions once you go off into your breakout rooms, so I will post the questions to this home page after each round. Just have doodadtrivia.com open in a web browser and hit refresh after I send you to your breakout rooms to see the latest questions.
• ​Once you all rejoin the main room, I’ll go over each of the answers, and you’ll score yourselves.
• At the end of the answers, I'll ask someone from your team to use the chat to tell me how many points you earned on that round.
• I will add it to a spreadsheet to keep track for each team and read the totals before we go on to the next round - just like in our normal trivia games.

After each game I move the questions to the page for that week's game. You can find questions and results from all our past games as well as some fun stats under the "Rankings" menu.

COVID-19 fever has swept the world, and we had four corona virus themed team names, two of which ended up winning our game tonight.

Another awesome turnout this week - this time to kick off the Surly Goat's 10 Year Anniversary Week. We had 16 teams competing and a couple of lead changes throughout the game. On the final round, one of the top teams forgot to double down and dropped dramatically in the standings (if they had doubled down, they still wouldn't have won, but it would have been much closer for them).

Our bartender Alexis made cookies that were delicious and also a very popular inspiration for team names this evening.

An awesome turnout for trivia tonight. We had 16 teams participating!

​Round 3 was the Common Bond round and also the drinking round.  We had four teams get all the questions right and double down on each for a maximum round score of 22 points. A tie breaker was held between the two teams who were first to hand in their answer sheets with the question: "What was the total number of points scored in yesterday's NBA All-Star Game?".
The answer was 155 + 157 = 312.
The closest guess was 166 - so the tie went to team "Quizzy McGuire".
