Tonight there were 12 teams competing for the bar gift certificates. Many of them were returning teams from last week, but we had a few new competitors join the mix for the championship game coming up on October 7. A regular team, but new to the tournament, was "The Ford Pinto Spoiler Alert", who started off after Round 1 with 21 points. Team "Yung Pervs", the winners from last week, kept chipping away at the lead for the next two rounds and after Round 3 was leading the game by just 1 point. The rounds tonight were:
After The Final Countdown, "The Ford Pinto Spoiler Alert" prevailed with 158 points. Second place went to "On the Trophy" with 152. "Yung Pervs" finished 3rd with 147. Full results here  As always, we have our weekly Monday night trivia kicking off at 8:30 pm at the Surly Goat in West Hollywood.

Tonight's game was played by 9 teams. This was the first game included in Season 1, with the championship game announced for Monday, October 8th. The top 8 ranked teams playing from now until then will be eligible to participate in the championship game with $CASH$ prizes. The rounds tonight were:
Team "On the Trophy" jumped out to an early lead after Round 1 but caught by Yung Pervs and Vaccines Cause Adults in the subsequent rounds. Going into The Final Countdown, three teams were tied for 2nd Place with 84 points each: "The Hot Guy Who I Told To Meet Me at The Surly Goat for Trivia on Monday at 8 Isn't Here", "On the Trophy", and "Vaccines Cause Adults". Team "Yung Pervs" was in 1st with 91 points. After The Final Countdown the "Yung Pervs" prevailed with 165 points and 1st Place. 2nd Place went to "On the Trophy".
